Stagfield Group and Peveril Homes have been awarded ‘Residential Developer of the Year’ at the Insider East Midlands Property Dinner Awards 2026, recognising the success of their growing partnership and shared commitment to sustainable housebuilding and brownfield regeneration.

The award was presented at the East Midlands Conference Centre on Thursday 17th September 2026, celebrating the collaboration between Stagfield Group and Peveril Homes and the impact of their joint developments across the region.

The partnership began with the highly successful Abbey Central development in West Bridgford, which established a blueprint for combining sustainable design with high-quality residential development. This approach was subsequently carried forward into Kneeton Grove in East Bridgford, an 88-home development designed to combine energy-efficient modern living with the character of an established village, and further rolled out on a number of other sites in the region

At the heart of the partnership is the integration of Stagfield Group’s sustainability-led design philosophy with Peveril Homes’ customer focus and established construction expertise.  Together, they are creating homes that respond to the growing demand for design led, high-quality, energy-efficient and lower-carbon living.

Transforming brownfield land at Abbey Central

Abbey Central has become a landmark example of sustainable urban regeneration, transforming the former Abbey Road Recycling Depot in West Bridgford into a pioneering low-energy neighbourhood.

The development incorporates a range of technologies designed to improve energy efficiency and support lower-carbon living, including air source heat pumps, solar photovoltaic panels, electric vehicle charging and smart home technology.

By bringing previously developed land back into productive use, the scheme demonstrates how brownfield regeneration can create desirable new communities while incorporating sustainability into the design of new homes.

Sustainable homes with a village character at Kneeton Grove

The same design principles have been carried through to Kneeton Grove in East Bridgford, where 88 new homes combine contemporary, energy-efficient living with the traditional character of the village.

The development includes a diverse mix of thoughtfully designed homes and barn-style properties, with the scheme carefully considered to complement its surroundings while meeting the expectations of modern homeowners.

Kneeton Grove demonstrates how high-quality, low-carbon housing can be integrated into an established community, creating new homes that are designed around both environmental considerations and the character of the local area.

A partnership with growing regional momentum

Commenting on the award, Kevin Hard of Stagfield Group said “The Stagfield and Peveril partnership continues to grow in strength due to our focus on sustainability-led housing and brownfield regeneration. We currently have strong interest in sales and growing pipeline of homes in development, and in the planning process. This demonstrates our growing regional influence and presence.”

James Smith, Managing Director at Peveril Homes added

The award comes as the partnership continues to build momentum, with a substantial pipeline of future residential development planned across the region.

Together, Peveril Homes and Stagfield Group are demonstrating how collaboration between an innovative, sustainability-focused developer and an established customer focused housebuilder can deliver high quality, sustainable homes.

Recognising the East Midlands property sector

Hosted by TV and radio presenter Jason Mohammad, the Insider East Midlands Property Dinner Awards recognise the people, projects and organisations making an impact across the region's property, construction and development sectors.

The Residential Developer of the Year category also featured William Davis Homes and Vistry East Midlands on the shortlist.

For Stagfield Group and Peveril Homes, the award recognises not just the success of Abbey Central and Kneeton Grove, but the strength of a partnership focused on delivering the next generation of sustainable homes across the East Midlands.
